Star Wars Galactic Warfare, is a total conversion modification for Call of Duty 4. There is a server that has been hosted locally, and I am keen to get a night for all the Star Wars Fans to get some blaster action in! The game plays out exactly the same as vanilla COD4 and is really quite spectacular to see!

How to set up the Galactic Warfare mod:

Follow this link and download the mod(the swm_04b.zip) from our FTP.

http://196.2.97.210/Games/Call Of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare/Galactic Warfare/

(the zip has been extracted on the ftp if any files within the zip are corrupt.)

Please note if you do not download the mod from the FTP you will not be able to join the server.The mod is 249mb,downloading this through the server would take forever.

Once downloaded extract the files into your Call of Duty 4 folder,overwrite the mods and/or usermaps folders.Paths should look like this when you are done

C:/Program Files/Activision/Call of duty 4-Modern Warfare/mods/swm_04

C:/Program Files/Activision/Call of duty 4-Modern Warfare/usermaps/mp_tatooine

And then you are ready to slaughter some rebel scum.

Tonight the battle ground has been laid out. The rebel scum shall be wiped from Tatooine and the Empire Shall REIGN SUPREME!!!!

Well the MyBB forums, have been pretty useless as far as support goes :D With the sign ups on the iGame, Prophecy and SGS forums we should have bout 10 - 15 guys :D
 
Hi qu1k. Do you have an IP for that server? That link to the forum wasn't working for me last night.
Bean, where can I get info on how to lan the mod?
 
I downloaded the Mod today. I will try it tonight :)

Is it only just that one map? It seems huge! How many games modes does star wars mod have? I seen CTF. That would be awesome! :D

well at the moment it is only one map, but the quality of the map is fantastic. the modes are the same as stock COD4 vanilla.
 
I tried it out and it was awesome. but it was just one person on the server. We played like 3 rounds of S and D and the guy left. Nobody else was online this weekend....
 
Yeah we have to set aside a certain time for everyone to log on and play. I am happy to jam tuesday or thursday at 8 :D

Can be a lot of fun :P

Anyway someone add me on xfire and if I am online, I might be keen to join bfbqu1k
