Star Wars-like hoverbike now a reality

The United States Defense Department has partnered with U.K.-based firms to build a hoverbike which will be used as a tactical reconnaissance vehicle.

Don't worry, this vehicle will place the rider at exactly the right height to be visible while still being accessible via small arms fire. The noise will not last for long.
