A few more days ! a few more days :)

Drivers primed and ready :)

Anyone else looking forward to this ? I been waiting a long long time ... since X-wing Vs Tie Figther 1998'ish :)

Weekend booked off :)

Oh yes, Tie fighter was amazing. Still have it on Steam and play it now and then .

I think most people will be disappointed, seeing that most early-access reviews said that the single player component is a gloves on approach into multi player. It is an online game with a single player story campaign which serves as a tutorial or so the reviewers said.

Theres an hd-fication mod for this but it requires a fair amount of work:

(this looks like it, its been a while)

looks like an awesome game,
do you think any bonus ships will make a appearance?

like the fastest POS in the Galaxy?

Apparently, there will be 'elite' ships. I don't know, because there is a hint that the game will be, maybe, turned into an e-sport which is generally a good thing to ensure that the game will be updated and last years to come. Throwing something like elite units into this game may disturb the balance, but perhaps it is mechanically apt. I haven't played the game, I can only play tomorrow.

I'm enjoying it so far, just need to map a few keys

I tried KB/Mouse and then tried it with controller ... Cannot get around those controls so has to JS/KB combo

I see the important part is omitted: How does it measure up to xwing, tie fighter and or xvst?
How simplified (or not) is the space combat?

It's a heck of a lot more prettier

I'm in the second mission for the Imp's so still far far away ( get it ? ) from any conclusion

Cockpit view only ain't great but maybe they'll patch that later on, I haven't tried the MP side

I'd recommend buying when it's on sale, regular crashes and way to arcade like ( Fast paced ) No tactical planning at all :(

Doesn't do the original justice

If it had a campaign the same scope as that of Tie Fighter, and more variety of missions I would have jumped at this, but so far this looks like warthunder in space with a couple of single player missions (training).

Tie fighter and even X-wing Alliance had brilliant campaigns and a lot of different ships for different kinds of missions.

I was especially fond of the type of missions where you had to scan cargo, find the target, intercept it before it escapes, and then the massive space battles with different capital ships etc.
