I received my pre-ordered copy from Kalahari yesterday, set up the battle.net account, but when i proceeded to try and activate it with the provided i get a message "The authentication key you entered cannot be claimed. Please try again."

Anyone else experienced a similar problem?

I have tried entering in numerous occasions.

Have you tried using any of the Trial Keys you get with it?? If it works it should tell you that you are going to activate a 7 day trial... you should not obiously confirm that, but just to check and see that another code works??

Otherwise are you entering the key exactly as you see it on the inside cover of the box?? It doesn't seem to be case sensitive, but do you put in the dashes?

Somebody else also mentioned an A that looks like an H - maybe just check if you don't have any characters that could be different characters.

lol, well without my glasses id be convinced it was an A (altho personally, something like that id quickly figure out it was part of the g regardless)
with my glasses i can clearly see that it is a H
so honestly not trying to be an ass, but i think some of the ppl need to go for an eye examination (promise this isnt like an insult or anything) just something that the people should consider

Can you please tell me which letters gave you the issue. I am having the same issue.

The "A" in the beginning (First character), is actually an H. but in case thats not your problem. BLizzard did send me a reply which is as follows:

"Greetings,

The error you're describing indicates that you've attempted to claim an invalid
authentication key. In some cases the authentication key may be difficult to
read and it's also very easy to enter wrong letters or numbers when typing it
in. Here are some common substitutions:

- B's and 8's look alike.
- 2's and Z's looks alike, Z's and 7's look alike, and sometimes a 2 looks
like a 7.
- 4's, A's and H's occasionally look similar, especially if the left side of
the H or A is faint.
- G's look similar to 6's.
- E's appear similar to F's if the bottom of the E is faint.
- K’s can look like R’s due to their proximity to the text above the
authentication key.

Please carefully examine the key to ensure the correct letters or numbers are
input.
