Starcraft 2 Campaign difficulty

Hey peeps

what difficulty level is everbody playing the campaign on? I started on normal did the first 6 maps and found it waaaay to easy so i restarted them on hard mode.

Yeah I was also going to start on Normal, but thought I may as well challenge myself.... The challenge is defintely there for me now
I LOVE Starcraft, but struggle with it's mechanics... Need to learn to that building the weakest/lowest tier units are necessary, instead of trying to get my faithful Hydra's as my first unit

Yea on hard mode there is quite a difference from Normal, makes me wonder how easy it would be on easy lol

I'll finish it on Normal first then try and take on the Hard achievements afterwards.

I played a few missions on hard, was fine. But that mission with the purple gas - Welcome to the Jungle - damn! Its too hard on hard. They have too many units and dont give you enough time to build up your forces.

The mission where you have to destroy the infected buildings by day and defend by night........I've got 6 bunkers ( upgraded with defence turrets and containing 6 marines ), 2 -3 medics ( upgraded with advanced healing ), 6 marines ( upgraded with shields ) , 4 firebats , 6 Marauders and 2 SCV's at each entrance.....at night 12 they PWN me like theres no tomorrow :wtf:

@Ancalagon : Im also playing hard and that mission was quite tough, you gotta move so quickly. I found just marines + mauraders & lots of guns for hire did the job for me.

But ya hard is difficult at times haha
The 1 mission with the pacifier...... wow it took me about 12 tries on hard.
