Starcraft 2 getting released as trilolgy

I dont see what the problem is?

Have Blizzard ever dissapointed? No, everthing they have ever released has been brilliant. They are the only company that doesn't just spew stuff out. They take time to make it properly. Why do you think Koreans still play starcraft 1?

They have a good idea to release 3 parts, it is something different.

I would pay for the game 3 times as i know blizzard will make it work the cash.

Blizzard FTW ;)

+1

I'd rather they spent the extra time to release a Blizzard Quality Game then a EA quality game. I still dont like the whole release 1 campaign a year idea mainly because by the time the protoss is out, the game is going to be dated. But then again I dont play any single player games anyway so it wont really affect me... I just hope that this means SC2: Marines comes out soon as they only have to focus on the one campaign... I also hope we South Africans will get good enough latency to play on the overseas battle.net or that they release a battle.net 2.0 PvPGn

Would you be complaining as much if they released 1 game and 2 expansions, all having a piece of each races storyline, amounting to the exact same content in the end?

I only play Starcraft for the multiplayer - so for me this isnt that exciting unless they release a couple new units for each side - per expansion. I'll only buy the first part otherwise.

I see that Siax host a lot of stuff... this is a good oppertunity for them to get in on Bnet2 action.

Battle.net is hosted by blizzard themselfs, they'd never let it be hosted externally they would have to have an African branch of blizzard before we would get any blizzard games hosted here. The only solution would be to emulate a battle.net server and that isnt exactly legal of course.

OR we all just gonna have to play each other on a Virtual LAN or something. (Hamachi)

Think MyBB should start a SC2 server :D

Also if there is a multiplayer option (LAN) for D3 they should host one for it aswell :D

Bnet is just a match-up service. So if you're playing against locals your ping would be just as good as playing on a local "bnet"

Ok. I am glad to see that there are other people not so happy with this news.

I was not happy at first, but when we have all three I am sure we will be happy with the game.
