I bought a CE at amazon but my mate will only be back in sa in 2 weeks.

Can i use a normal copy (borrowed from a friend and the serial number that came with that box is used) to install the game and then when asked for the serial i just use the ce serial he sms'ed me?

Aye if it's a Europe disk and you bought a Europe version it'll work fine. You register for a Battle.net acc with your email addy,link your SC2 key and log into the game,it doesn't care who's disk was used hehe

You can even download the entire client from Bnet if you got 7 gigs to spare.

just sad you can't un-register your serial from your account otherwise I would also definitely get one from there.
