Yearly re-watch - wow, that's some commitment there :D
 
What I love the most about Stargate is it's anti-religious themes. Especially SG1 seasons 8+9 dealing with the Ori. (The Ori, representing Christianity delivering a turn-or-burn message.)

Ironically, I felt they kinda lost the plot with these 2 seasons. Big SG fan though, have watched (and have) all 3 series, SG-1, Atlantis and Universe. Though I think I'm missing a couple of the movies.

Haha i know a guy who used to watch movies and series on 2x speed on his PS3
 
pfft.

Kodi man. I am midway through season 3 of SG1 now. its just difficuilt to decide waht to watch when you have everything you can think of in front of you.

The series was supposed to end with Season 8 wrapping up the Goa'uld and Replicator stories, but they brought it back with the new Ori storyline for 9.
 
So if they do a new Stargate series,

What do you think they will do?

Continuation of universe? sg1, Atlantis.....
Why they even stopped I'll never understand......

It's just a matter of time. I'm guessing it will likely be a few years after the movie reboot next year. I also highly doubt any of the creative team from the old Stargate franchise will be involved.
 
I'd like for them to continue universe - it was just getting ****ing epic when they canned it.

BTW; does anybody know where to find the Season 3 transcript written by Joseph malozzi?
Was on a page on his blog, but can't find it now,

Wrapped universe up very nicely, earth in a war with the Lucian alliance, aliens, destiny being upgraded, aliens, black hole bombs,

Did I mention aliens?
