Starlink - a potential game changer
It’s hard for many of us to imagine a world without instant, limitless internet access. Some have even argued that it should, alongside access to clean water and electricity, be considered a basic human right. [The Conversation]

One South Africa will never know as long as it remains a communist regime and the company is owned by Elon.

In a country without reliable electricity, Starlink will soon be The Only Working ISP in SA. Only once The Plunderings are over, and the deaths due to dehydration and cholera start mounting up.

Doesn't it still work here but with high ping if you can get the system?

I swear I saw one oke here on the forum do a speedtest with a kit he managed to get.
Curious to know more about this? I thought the satellites have to stop broadcasting when flying over SA as they cannot broadcast without ICASA approval..
