Starlink Mini goes head-to-head with conventional satellite Internet in South Africa

MyBroadband tested the new Starlink Mini side-by-side with an existing geostationary satellite internet connection.

The testing was done on the same remote bushveld farm where we previously compared the second-generation Starlink with MorClick's satellite service.

The application is more for hikers, rural emergency service, or portable installation for small aircraft or sailing boats.

Still waiting for any concrete evidence that ICASA is the reason for SpaceX's not launching in SA. It's mostly speculation is it not?
