Starting a Startup

What are you? A Viking? :p

Lolol, you're on fire Bobbin.

Awesome post earlier, and I'm in the same position - also completely over-thinking it, and too interested in finding something 'original' (the classic trap).

What do you need to start up a business? You have an idea that seems viable and disruptive....

Now you need a Business model and protect your IP... what is the next phase and what else would you need befor trying to acquire funding?

Requirements :

- Factors of production
- Capital
- Objectives and Goals
- Expertise of being a manager

The requirements are countless and also you have to do a research on how to start up a business. Because all of the information found here is of inaccuaracy. Good Luck

Thank you sir..

Every day I think of what could make money.... It's a good idea + funding + the right timing

As I posted earlier. You need balls, just make the jump. Ive had x3 startups of which 1 never succeeded. The one lesson you need to learn is things never go the way you expected, as humans we were always taught that failing is bad. Ie failing at school is bad. So when we fail with a startup we walk away. Go and read the book Fear Of Failure, it should be the one thing that makes you stronger and more eager to make it work.

My surname contains ö and the CIPC website "convenietly" strips that out of the name field for me. They then do a cross reference on their surname field vs the home affairs department db so it never matches up. Long story short - I can't register a business in my own name. Good job ANC good job!

That's not the case. It's actually a DHA problem but can be fixed from the CIPC side.

PM me if you still need help with this.
