we are probably going to get a news some day. Oops happened so we got to restart or something like that.I heard on eNCA that the commission has generated 1 billion gigabytes of data. Storage costs must be hectic.

Zondo commission granted until March 2021 to finish work
By Rebecca Davis• 24 February 2020
The ‘final extension’ has been given to the Zondo commission to complete its work investigating State Capture. The North Gauteng High Court ruled on Monday that the inquiry can proceed until March next year – but no longer.
In order to preclude the possibility of further applications for extensions, Judge Hughes ruled that March 2021 should be the commission’s final deadline.
“I am mindful of the fact that it is in the interest of justice that there be finality with the work of the commission, encompassing findings and recommendations to act upon as a matter of urgency,” Judge Hughes wrote.
“In my view, further extensions would not be warranted.”
In granting a 13-month extension, the court took up the suggestion put before it by the Council for the Advancement of the Constitution (Casac), which had advocated for a final deadline of 13 months.
“We welcome the judgment – it is in accordance with the proposal Casac put before the court,” Casac director Lawson Naidoo told Daily Maverick on Monday.
“We think the commission now needs to focus its mind on how it is going to use that 13 months.”
Clarification:Zondo said Ramaphosa will be asked a wider set of questions than only those related to where his name has been heard in the 303 days of testimony, the Commission has already heard.
“Ramaphosa was part of the executive; he was deputy president of the country and the ANC (during the state capture era). (We want to know) what he knew, what happened and what the challenges were,” said Zondo.
The Commission’s secretary Professor Itumeleng Mosala said it had assembled one gigabyte of information about corruption and that this archive alone was a deterrent to future corruption.
Corruption continues at endemic levels, not sure what deterrent their 1Gig is proving. This commission was and is a monumental waste of time and money. They pussy foot around the people are actually corrupt while giving random sideshows time in the spotlight to spout various unrelated propaganda without being challenged. Close it up, cut losses and shred the ****.Still some very important testimony required:

Imagine losing a match in which your opponent refused to play.Zondo mollycoddled a lot in my opinion. No idea why. We needed someone like Judge Judy to preside over to get some results.
