This is on a 4Mbps adsl line in Inchanga, KZN.
Totally pathetic.
I've had this type of connection for the past twelve months and Telkom keep lying to me about when it will be sorted out.
In November 2013 two techs confirmed that the problem was at the exchange and it would be sorted out by January 2014.
In February 2014 I was told it would be fixed by the end of March.
I have just been informed by the Area Manager at the Hillcrest Telkom Shop that it won't happen until SEPTEMBER 2014.

I don't have expertise in the area but have you tried having a new line installed, forcing them to give you a different line to the exchange?
