Static IP Address

Hi All,

I am currently with WebAfrica over Openserve. Since the move they removed a feature that IS provided which allowed me to map my domain name to a dynamic name based on my account details (Which updated with every public ip change).

Are there any fibre providers (Over Openserve) that provides static IP either as part of the package or as a addon?

So a mate of mine has a static IP via Axxess. Think it's 50 bucks or something extra. Alternatively instead of a static IP, could DynDNS not work for you? https://dyn.com/dynamic-dns/

I personally haven't had to use this but I know a few people that went this route instead with no issues. There is also quite a few guides on setup. So could be worth a try?

Axxess offer static IPs on ADSL and Fibre (not sure about their wireless offerings)
