I there i sign up with an static account to improve the internet overall what an waste, done speed test in the day time if i am lucky sometimes in manage to get like 630kbs on an 4mb line, can't download emails the servers timeout, and the browsing are very sluggish, the Vodacom account i don't have any problems with only steam does not work can live with that.

Static IP accounts are meant for hosting services. I don't see why you should get one for personal use.

Yeah, the only thing it is going to do is give you an IP address that doesn't change. It is not going to fix up any line problems you might have.

Don't take offense but there is a superb little ebook you will find online called "Elements of Style" by William Strunk Jnr written about 100 years ago. A quick crash course would do wonders for you and put you on the right track. I counted over 40 grammar and punctuation errors before giving up and I didn't even get half way through your post. Remarkably, your spelling is fine, but maybe your browser lent a hand.

Perhaps he wants to host some sort of server or it could even be for his office.

Clearly you can't read coz i sead that i don't have any problems with the vodacom accounts....

What they were trying to explain to you, which "clearly you can't read", is that the static IP address has nothing to do with your internet speed. There are different providers offering static IP addresses with ADSL and perhaps you should contact one of the others. They might be able to give you better performance as well as a static IP.
