Static ip setup with Afrihost

Ill get my pf box running tomorrow afternoon, and then we can do tests, do you have a static ip arranged with AH, or should we make this work with dyndns?

by the way, should it be l2tp under the wan interface, or do you setup l2tp under vpn?

You can't do it either way. To get it working in pfSense you would most likely need to create some custom script.

Do you have a test account with fixed ip from AH?
I'm ready with pfsense to try what you need.

We've done this on DrayTek routers through the VPN config.
Just select VPN type as L2TP (without IPSec), then input the given AH username and password as the VPN user/pass.

Lastly, remember to set the connection as:

• Always On
• NAT (not Routing)
• Default Gateway

and you should be good to go.
