Static or Private IP's

Does anyone know if iBurst assign public of private IP addresses to their users?

Public means that its a valid IP address that is unique across the entire internet
Private means that it is one of the IP ranges that is allocated to LAN's and other closed networks - means you will be accessing the internet through a NAT (network address translator) so that websites think you have a real world IP address.

Yes - iBurst does allocate public addresses - and you can get that address fixed across reconnects by paying the static IP fee mentioned above.
Vodacom 3G would be an example of a network that is using private IP addresses by default.
