Static WAN IP Setup on a LTE Router

Is it possible to setup a static WAN IP address on a LTE Router? We got a Static IP from Telkom which we pay for but I can't find a way to set it up on a Huawei or D-Link Routers with LTE.

I would expect they'd always assign you the IP same address, is this not the case?

Correct. Only other way is to use an IP assigned on a tunnel such as SD-WAN.
