Ok! Let's give this a bash..
I owned a 250gb xbox, bought brand new less than a year ago, loaded mainly live demo's for the kid with a handful of genuine Lego Games and GTA iv...
Two months later, got me paws on a jtag xbox, so I sold the first box, with the games...
My boet also has an xbox, being an IT Manager, he only deals in genuine games and bought GTAV the moment it came out..... Here comes the bad part, without mentioning names, a number of younger family members were always over at his place playing games in particular GTAV, one day he calls me up, asking if I borrowed his GTAV game? Told him to bugger of, no ways..... His missus however noted the night before that another young family member was acting strange, had his swimming bag at their house and the bag was not in it's usual spot... But kept getting closer to the games room... Anyhow this young relative does not own an xbox, so I thought nothng off it...
I find out a few weeks later, by pure chance that hs same young relative of ours happens to be mates with the youngster whom I sold my orignal xbox to and that he was often over at this fellow's house playing xbox.... Motive?
After waiting for three months for the youngster to pay me the remaining two gand for my xbox, I call it quits, hearing from a number of sources that the particular family owes money all over the town, grab the lads dad un the shop and tell him that I want my xbox back within the hour, I will give his boy bavk the grand deposit...the boy rocksup with xbox, but with different games than what I originally sold to him, he xplains that he swapped the games...
This evening I plugged the said xbox in, scrolled through the games list, everything was how I had sold it a few short months ago, no sign of a GTAV....
However, going into the settings, what do I see, but a profile set up for GTAV, thus telling me thata version of GTAV had recently been installed on this xbox, then deleted, but the culprit neglected to delete his profile...
What I need to do is find a way to prove that this installation was done with my boets disc, so tech folks any suggestions to make this case concrete?
