Steam is down

Who says it's a DDoS?

But yeah Steam is down and took some games with it dota2 (Thank God) and CS Go
 
No reason to care when there's Xbox PC Game Pass with The Outer Worlds, Gears 5, Metro Exodus etc.
 
Origin and Apple Store is also down or having intermittent issues. I am currently also struggling with Envato and some of my API services are down in Europe.

FUBAR. I believe this is the largest, or widest, scale of DDoS in history. Some of it orchestrated, others getting in on the opportunity.

Edit:

Just for notice, avoid using API services of said service being attacked. Hijacked APIs are common under the circumstances.

It's not a steam issue. It's akamai.

DNS A records missing for affected domains probably a system fault or something. Maybe a ddos but yeah that is the issue.

A lot of sites taken down by this.

fast.com
Trello.com
Steampowered.com
Smashbros.com

And many more
