Steam Store and Steam Points

Hi All

Do anybody know if it is possible to purchase games in the Steam store using your accrued Steam points?

All that you can apparently buy are gimpy keyboard themes, chat icons and stickers and the such, but they (Steam) state that you can buy games as well, but the process is not clear or intuitive at all.

You can also use your points within the Points Shop and to award other users. Valve said that they are planning on expanding what users can do with their Steam Points.
