Does anyone know how this works? I thought all steam purchases were free (the data part)... it seems to be included in my monthly cap, anyone else have a problem with it?

As far as I know, the freezone (free Steam/gaming bandwidth etc) hasn't started yet.
Or it could be that gaming bandwidth is free but they haven't linked Steam in yet.

Freezone is already active. Steam content mirror isn't afaik.

i.e. Not yet, but soon. I'm guessing thats one of the two announcements being made on Monday.
