Hey guys sorry if i posted this in the wrong section but since i bought this headset i thought the buzzing sound would go away but whenever i put the volume on the volume wheel thing on the wire at full, there is this annoying buzzing sound that comes through on certain sound effects such as the steam notification sound and grenades in games and even music, which is really off putting so i found this website and was hoping somebody would know how to fix this problem? Also when i test my mic or when im speaking to somebody on teamspeak my mic used to buzz aswell just like what i hear on some sound effects.

I have tried everything i know (I'm not good with this stuff :P)

Do you really need to max the volume? Anyway, I bought a version of the V2 headset and had a problem with it too. I can't remember exactly what the problem was, but it also had to do with an annoying sound. I returned it and got a properly function one. Best to do that if it really bothers you.

With max volume on it makes hearing things in a competetive game much easier.

I can't return it because i don't know where i ordered it from and it has probably expired :(.

Oh well, thanks for the reply though.

Well your problem is buying a SteelSeries V2 :P (Don't worry I fell into the same trap). It's just cheap speakers that can't handle high volume, simple as that. I really miss my Corsair HS1, it was cheaper, louder and better quality audio :(

People don't realise this, but any Steel series product a a load of junk.
