Hi all,

Hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction.

Got this steering wheel from a friend of mine (off a Td5), but the boss kit will not fit on my Defender Puma:

I have contacted Autostyle, but they don't stock these anymore, and the only places I have found online are in the UK, which means spending close to R700 to get one from there.

Does anyone know of a local (pref CTN) retailer that may stock a boss kit for a Defender Puma?

thanks!

Nope - not sure about a store that will have that, but since you are into Landies maybe you should tag along next time we set out for some fun on our family farm next to Spier?

Nice outing! Damn, that Unimog is so cool.

But the guy with the D3 does not know how to drive it. When he starts spinning wheels, he must just keep going and the TC will get him out. He backs off, which is the wrong move. Also not deflating his tyres does not help :)

Sounds like it will be a lot of fun to have you in the team next time we go :p

The Unimog belongs to a friend of mine whom collects cars (mostly old VAGs and DKWs) but this Unimog is the most impressive offroader I have seen. I have this crazy idea to try and do some of those things (not the rivers) in my dad's 2x4 Raider 2.7 - I guess with a little skill you might pull off some of the stuff they do in the sand quarry. Anyways its just for fun and we keep it private, not to many cars at a time, be sure to check out the mighty new Land Cruiser with V8 Lexus engine - it belongs to Unimog guy's brother and more power seems to be the solution to most situations it gets stuck in.
