Does any one have experience with the above music processors and what's your verdict?

What do you want to use it for? Pro tools needs pro tools hardware which makes it very expensive I would imagine. I've used Cubase and I like it.

Protools is pretty much the defacto standard for the professional recording industry (a friend worked in it, and used it), but yes, it costs a huge amount and you need the Protools hardware as well. Well it is the hardware and software combination that makes Protools.

Nuendo and Cubase are probably good (depending on what you need to do), but it's like comparing the Gimp to Photoshop or something like that.

You'll have to do your own research on the programs to see which best suits your needs.

AFAIK cubase is quite limited, rather go for Reason (Ultimate but hard to master) or Fruity Loops (2nd To reason but easier to master)C

Cubase, Pro-Tools and Nuendo are all top-notch professional recording and production tools. One is not better than the other. Software does not make you a better artist.

You should try each one and then decide which works best for you. But before you invest serious money in any one of these packages, you should start by trying out some freeware or open-source music production software.

Many thanks but I'd prefer Cubase
I just need it to play the sound effects and videos already created for my Pink Floyd tribute band, I have used Cubase for our past shows but checking to see anything more friendly ;)

If you already know Cubase, stay with it. Today's studio programs all have a fairly steep learning curve.
I've been using Cakewalk since version II that was supplied on 2 x 1.44Mb stiffies. Tried many others including Cubase and Nuendo, but in the end stayed with Cakewalk. Currently running Sonar 8 Producer edition (Shipped on 2x DVDs!), but also using Fruityloops as DXi in Sonar.
