Dr Stephen Brobst is the chief technology officer for Teradata Corporation. He joined the Teradata team in October 1999. Previously, Brobst successfully launched three start-up companies related to high-end database products and services in the data warehousing and e-business marketplaces: Tanning Technology Corporation, NexTek Solutions (acquired by IBM) and Strategic Technologies & Systems (acquired by NCR).
Brobst also taught graduate courses at Boston University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in both the MBA program at the Sloan School of Management and in the computer science departments of both universities.
