Ster Kinekor 20% discount

For those that don't know Ster Kinekor has 20% discount on all movie tickets no card needed and 20% off large popcorn and soda. Not sure if the price will differ but it was R51.90 for the large soda and popcorn. :)

The discount on the movie ticket IMO is still nothing special but lucky for me I have vitality discount. :)

Well if it is it's like spitting in our faces. They took such a nice website the flash version of it and destroyed it. Now you need to view all cinemas then select your preferred cinema from the massive list and it's not a easy and quick like the old one.
 
I loved the old website and app super easy and intuitive. The new app seems like it was designed by someone who did a six week course online.
 
The 50% off Tuesday special is still on.

I can't drink and eat at the cinemas without having to pee before the end of the movie. But anyway, it's ludicrous paying at least R50 for a bit of popcorn and drink. Because I go during the day, it takes about 10-15 minutes to get from my garage to my seat in the cinema. My movie consumption at the cinema has quadrupled this year because of it.
