When you see straight to video junk like The Quiet Ones and Tokarev showing at a major cinemaplex charging premium prices then you cant help but wonder why people continue to support these guys.

Its obvious that these movies are being purchased from Jelly Tot sales while they continuously drive the prices of tickets and refreshments to preposterous levels.

Another movie that comes to mind is Legends of Oz and be rest assured there'll be more on the way.

And then there's the double dip of showing the same movie with and without 3D.

Don't watch it then? There is a market for these movies.

Get discovery vitality or an edgars account, you pay half price for tickets,

Note with vitality you can only get one ticket per movie.

I agree with the pricing problem, R70 for popcorn? Sheesh!!! I only buy a full combo if I really think the movie will be excellent, in other words I don't buy it for food but to simply complement a good movie.

Have you voiced your concerns to ster kinekor on Facebook? Try and see what they say.

Ster Kinekor is leaps and bounds ahead of Nu Metro. At least in durban. Went and watched How to train your dragon 2 on saturday in nu metro pav and the seats were terrible! and had to walk a mile just to go to the toilet with the daughter. For now on Ster Kinekor Gateway will get my money everytime!

I agree, SK offer better popcorn and flavours + with vitality its cheaper for me but there is one cinema that stands out...Nu Metro Monte Casino, its so massive (35 cinemas if im not mistaken? ) and the atmosphere is great, it even has 500 seater theatres for the most popular movies with a dedicated waiting area and cafe...

How much do Nu Metro charge per 2D and 3D movie anyway? I can't remember.

You go to movies high?? Lol

From what I read on Google, the Il Grande Nu Metro at Monte Casino has 500 seats. However, they have a total of 15 cinemas.

15 seats ? Cant be...what date was that information recorded?

I am going to let you in on a little insider secret that will blow your mind when it comes to movie viewing.

[{(YOU ARE ALLOWED TO CHOOSE WHICH MOVIES YOU WANT TO SEE!)}]

Please don't let this info out into the public domain as we don't want every Tom, Dick and Harry choosing which movies they go to.
Seriously, it will spoil it for the rest of us.

EDIT: OK, I'm in a generous mood... so here's another tip for free....

[{(YOU DON'T HAVE TO WATCH EVERY MOVIE THAT COMES TO THE MOVIE HOUSE, YOU CAN IGNORE SOME OF THEM!)}]
