Steve Wozniak sues YouTube

Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Wozniak says YouTube has for months allowed scammers to use his name and likeness as part of a phony bitcoin giveaway. [Bloomberg]

This is quite interesting. Youtube is very quick to remove "hate speech" videos, but actual scams stay?
This, and god forbid you use a couple of seconds of a copyrighted song (looking at HiFi and music review videos). I have seen videos being taken down for even using a 5 second clip.

Excellent.

Earlier this week, YouTube defended itself in a similar case by saying it was immune from liability under provisions of the federal Communications Decency Act. The 1996 law says that internet providers cannot be held liable for content posted on their platforms by users.

Section 230 reform can't happen fast enough.
