stinking servic from telkom

hi guys i have an upgrade with telkom renewed over the phone a week ago still waiting for courier as they did not deliver but taking it back to telkom as usual useless telkom deals with useless courier. is it possible to port my number thats due for upgrade to another provider and get a phone from them ?

You'll have to try cancel with them first, I think it's 30 days notice. once your contract is over they must release the number to your new network.

Let me know how that goes though, I'm cancelling with them due to lack of signal
