Not really, unless you appreciate things for whatever history and significance they might have. We went on a day tour to a few places which ended at stongehenge...we got there and there were rolling grey clouds in the distance, sunlight shafting through the clouds - it was a spectacular sight. But we'd also had a few hallucinogens so there's that, but...I was more pre-occupied with the landscape that the actual rocks which were a bit meh. It's fenced off anyways so you can't touch them to recharge.

As part of a whole day thing its cool - we did Windsor Castle, Bath and Stonehenge.

I would say yes , even if its not your "thing" it might make for some nice photo opportunities.

While I initially had no idea what this meant, a quick google search indicates to me that you're referring to "Dolemite", which is a mis-spelling of a perfectly-acceptable rock type.

Stonehenge was a waste of time for me, far to commercialised. Avebury on the other hand was a fantastic little town.

Go see it, the other recomendations are also good, we stoped by Salisbury Cathedral after, then back to the city.
