Yeah, OP, I'm looking at you.

My first cognitive reprogramming task is to stop boring the world with my bitching.

If I don't have anything awesome to say, shut the **** up!

Any advice as to how to successfully implement this life-changing paradigm shift in behviour? :D

Easy!
Stop ****ing complaining! :D

****, it's like 3 decades of being a negative twit I need to unravel though! :D

See? You're doing it again!

3 decades of calling it as you see it, through jaded eyes perhaps... not being a negative twit, you twit!

Hehe. Good move. It makes the whole world better. Seriously.

Of course you know it's not merely optics. Swapping blue for rose might help in the short term, but full-spectrum specs are needed to focus on the teleos. :D

Pm me with your troubles and I'll reply with what my day entailes....

Leave the swearing and cursing and negativity and hate and disgust and deprivation.

Be satisfied. With all you are and all you have, then you will be content.
If you want what you don't have, or fight to get what you had, then you will be negative again.

So just be satisfied and thankful and content :)

Oh yes, screw the pathetic customers that try and mess up my 2013. Go bite a dog's old hidden bone in the dirt  :wtf:

Awesome move, OP!

Bitching, complaining, moaning and the like become habits and you find yourself doing it about every small little thing. The selfish thing about moaners is that they want to bring everyone down with them so they tend to broadcast their bitching wherever they can, be it social media, forums or email!

Make the move to no longer be one of these pessimists. Rather look around you and see the beauty. Acknowledged what you have in your life rather than what you don't.

Pessimists are dime a dozen. Optimists are a rarity and awesome! :)

Without a healthy degree of cynicism eternal optimists and pessimists are annoying in equal measure.

Oh no, I was waiting for the "realists" to enter this discussion... :)

Personally I'd take the company of an optimist over a pessimist any day.

Everybody back at working and "lus vir k@kpraat" I see...

Keep it up.

Anyway a very happy and profitable new year...

Thanks...? 'Sides, I'm in my underpants. :D

Sure, but preferably one who'll recognise the possibility that the light at the end of the tunnel might be the Eurostar. :p

Sounds like you are complaining.

Not sure hey. Imagine in a scenario where the possibility of death exists (actually, that is life in general I suppose). Stranded on a desert island, for example. You do not need reminding that you could die. The pessimist would kindly be reminding you of this ALL the time. The optimist would be constantly telling you that a ship will appear on the horizon at any time. I'd much rather die with hope...
