Stop Notifications Combing

Coming back to Android from Windows Phone, I hate that notifications for a particular app like WhatsApp get combined.
Instead of showing the message preview, it starts showing 3 messages from 2 chats etc.

Anyway to change it to what I want? I have a stock Huawei P9 Lite.

I prefer following the messages at a glance, just makes it easier. I'm making do with the widget for now.
Waiting for XDA to get some support going and I'll load a custom rom.
