Now, one of my weaknesses is not to keep receipts for anything... therefore I had to pay what was reflected as what I owed to that company. But it was a private account. It had nothing to do with Parliament."

The minister refused to divulge how much he had owed.

"I am not going to tell you how much, (because) there are certain things about my personal life that are private.

"The private account arose because we have in our family, and I am sure this is the case with many other families, sick people - my sister, who is older than me; my brother, who is now 78; my father-in-law, who is 84; and my mother-in-law. We had to use our own accounts to get them to travel. That's what it was about."

And he tells us to stop whinging.

He also reportedly earlier this week finally responded to the issue of his saying complainers should leave. He said his remarks were aimed at two members of the DA thats were always complaining about crime.

Frankly, thats not true, I saw and heard him say what he said, and does it really have to take how many weeks for him to explain it in that fashion? I am assuming it is so late because he had trouble finding a excuse and finally thought of one.

From what I remember he had his arm twisted to apologise - and that was the best he could do. There seems to be a misunderstanding of how democracy and capitalism works - as a minister it is not for the enrichment of themselves, their wives, families and kids.
