Hi guys, I haven't been here for almost a month, had no ADSL due to cable theft.
After seeing all the wonderful gadgets the technitions have to trace a fault on a line, I was wondering if Telkom perhaps have some sort of device that one can put on the line at your premises that will sound an alarm when the line gets disconnected. I would be happy to report it to there theft department as soon as the line goes down. Being an ADSL line, I'm sure something like that is possible.
I'm sure there should be a software solution that will do the same thing, but I'm not to keen on keeping my PC running 24/7.
Would really like to help catch the culprits. Its a shame what they are doing to the countries economy and to poor Telkom. Yes I actually feel sorry for Telkom.
