Day 8 of no smoking - occassional insomnia and dreams are vivid as @#$@# - anyone else experience this?
Your dreams and lack of sleep are quite common when going through the initial stages after quitting an addictive substance. If it is really interfering with your routine, go see a Doctor and ask for a mild anti anxiety prescription that will help you sleep. It doesn't stop the dreams. After 2 weeks you should be able to sleep without assistance again. Try not to use the anti anxiety meds for longer than a week or two because you can very easily become dependant on them for sleep. 2 weeks should be safe with nicotine withdrawals... Alcohol is a little longer.Yes cigarettes, yes cold turkey - no zyban etc - had a friend who went mental on Zyban - He thought he was gonna die
