Just got this mail from a coworker:

Thank you for taking my call this morning and for your understanding in this matter.

As discussed, there was a case of theft and the ***** was stolen.

The criminal has been apprehended and all the stolen goods will not be retuned until the criminal investigation and court case has been concluded.

The SAPS case number is ****/01/2015 and the court date has been placed on the role for the 25/02/2015, after which I will give you an update as to the outcome of the case and how we plan to either return the stolen goods or replace the item for you as committed.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your understanding and patience in this regard, as you are aware this situation is totally out of one’s control and we hope that our mutual business relationship can still continue to prosper going forward.

They are a rather popular repair shop for out of warranty goods, we have never had an issue with them before.
I foresee some very very unhappy clients
