Hey Guys

I dont know if this has been discussed already? If it has, sorry.
Anyway my upgrades real soon, an im stuck between the 2.
My current phone is a touch screen, so typing wont be a problem.
Now should i pay more cash for the storm 2 or just get the bold?
Anyone have experience with both of the phones?

Love my bold, had one die on me, 3 months in, but I doubt I'll ever get anything besides a BB from now on. Last 4 years was using HTC win mobile phones, I gladly threw away my HTC Touch Pro...BB FTW.

Storm 2 is nice tho, but ultimately, not worth the extra cash IMO. I did miss a touch screen in the beginning, now its all good. No point in spending money paying in for a phone.

Absolutely love the 9700. I think it's the top-of-the-line BB at the moment. No experience of the Storm 2 though.

They're both good but blackberry shines with a keyboard (because of the millions of shortcuts you have). Storm is great too. If you can wait about 3 months the 9800 should be available with a touchscreen and a keyboard (slider).

Storm 2 extra cash? Pretty sure they're R100 apart?

Btw - these phones identical software and feature wise?

Had my Storm 2 for 1 week now and absolutely loving it too. Have played around on friends' 9700 and prefer the touchscreen. I'm not an expert, but I think they do pretty much exactly the same thing and have very similar specs, but it just comes down to whether you want a touchscreen or a normal keyboard without touchscreen. I had to pay in R1500 for my phone, but it was what I wanted so I'm not complaining.

Gee that's a lot of money, what contract you on. I'm with MTN 200 @ R399pm incl BIS pay in R150 once off for downgrading.
