Storm over weather law

People suffering left, right & center....and their priority is regulating weather warnings? How about rather doing something about people living in regions that regularly flood? Useless people in charge...
 
Tomorrow is 60% chance of rain and 23 degrees here in cape town. Can I sue Andile, from morning live, if it does not rain and it is 30degrees? They preparing for 21 December 2012. A pole shift will cause severe weather but the government don't want us to talk about it cause they deny it will happen.

What about someone on twitter that is not affiliated with SA in any way? I would simply open a sister company in another country, your native SA company gets the information and passes it on to the "sister" company that then posts it and tweets it. I would like to see them idiots try to plug that loophole.

Almost two years later and the bill is passed.

Cape Town - Changes to the law governing weather forecasting were approved by MPs on Tuesday.

The SA weather service amendment bill aims to make it an offence for a person other than the statutory SA Weather Service (SAWS) to issue warnings of severe weather.

According to the measure, the SAWS is the "single authoritative voice" on severe weather forecasts, and anyone who knowingly issues a false or misleading warning will face severe penalties.

Those found guilty of contravening this provision face a fine not exceeding R5m or imprisonment for a period not exceeding five years.

So if somebody asks you whether you think there will be storms or any other severe weather best to advice them to contact the weather service.... :whistle:

Aaaah I know why. Every time there is a warning Zumbie shyts himself with his head under the "heavy showers".
 
Time to get my Hammer and Sickle collection going.
