Not sure if this is on any SA platforms yet but it’s on CBS all access. Really good series.

Jack Parsons, a brilliant and ambitious blue-collar worker of 1930s Los Angeles, started as a janitor at a chemical factory but had fantastical dreams that led him to birth the unknown discipline of American rocketry. Along the way, he fell into a mysterious world that included sex magic rituals at night, ultimately becoming a disciple of infamous occultist Aleister Crowley. Parsons used Crowley's teachings of self-actualization to support his unimaginable and unprecedented endeavor to the stars.

In 2 minds about it. I have watched the first few episodes. Not knock your socks off but not fall asleep either.

not to turn this into a religious thread... but now a days they seem to openly promote devil worship. getting more and more prominenet on mainstream media. people are getting desensitized to this.

Depends on what religion you believe in, if you do in fact believe in a religion. Some religions do not have good and bad "places". It's great being an agnostic. You don't suffer the moral delemer.

Real life is sometimes more interesting than fiction. Never heard of this or the men involved but even the wiki pages are fascinating.

I just listened to a podcast to about him two days ago. L Ron Hubbard always was a hustling motherf**ker.
