Strange bug that is RUINING my game

Hello all you BF fundies who might just be able to assist me.

I have recent started having the problem where I click zoom (right mouse button) and then my game changes my firing rate. This has limited me to using weapons with only one fire rate (eg. sniper rifles, lmg, shotguns).

I have reset my keybind and reconfigured them. Right mouse button is not assigned to changing firing rate.
I have reasigned zoom to another key or button on my mouse and the same problem persists.

Has anyone had this and just maybe fixed it?

Have you tried a different mouse? just a thought.

What key is your firing rate assigned to?
Do you have a mouse that you can assign different actions to the buttons?

I do, but it even happens when I put my zoom on a key on my keyboard
