strange ip on sainet

i'm tring to set up an ftp server through my sainet 3g account. when i go the ip address i'm given i get this page http://41.216.193.161/ which is the exact ip i'm given. what gives? please can someone explain this to me

Given by whom? Is that the IP that your PC is reporting in its connection status?

Port forwarding is not supposed to be forwarded to your external WAN ip - but rather your internal LAN.
Try and find out your LAN ip addresses. Then forward to that range

Why are you so sure that it is YOUR IP? http://www.whatismyip.com/ shows your public IP... your IP might be different.

my ipconfig gives me a different ip address but dyndns see's the public ip which makes it impossible to access the router from outside. that's my big problem - i need to be able to get to the router via dyndns

found out the problem - their 3g addresses are nat'ed
