Was hoping someone would be able to help me out with this very strange problem.
I have setup remote desktop access to one of my clients work PC's using UltraVPN, becuase they only have XP home edition.
Anyway I can access their work PC when I'm connected to the net with my cell phone on CellC and all works fine, but when I get back to the office and try to connect to their work PC from an ADSL line I am not able to. I disconnect the adsl and connect to the net through my Cell phone and viola it works fine, go back to adsl and no go. I experience the same thing when trying to access their work PC from their home PC. My ADSL account is with Imaginet and they are with Axxess. I have spoken to Techs on both sides and they can't explain it either.
Before anyone asks..I've tried turning the router's firewall off, all ports are forwarded correctly and tested, specifically port 5900, which is the one UltraVPN is set to. I'm using a dynamic DNS from DynDNS.org and this is updating correctly and I have also tried using their currently assigned IP directly but to no avail.
Why will the Cell phone internet connection work but not ADSL?????????
