Strange "Telkom Closer Modem" scenario

So I've got a client with a Telkom Closer Modem (MW100?). 2 Pc's. 1 PC via Network cable, other via wireless. As soon as I connect the wireless PC to the Closer Modem, within 2 minutes, the PC hangs COMPLETELY. Need to hard reset it.

Brought PC and the modem to my office. Same happens here. But, connecting the PC to my wireless network, it works 100%, no problems. Connecting a laptop wirelessly to the Closer Modem also works fine, and doesn't hang.

Any idea where I can start?

LOL. Switch PC on, connect to modem, after 2 minutes, it hangs. Reboot. Did that 4 times. Then I "accidentally" dropped the modem. PC's been connected to modem for the past 20 minutes.

Strange stuff going on. Tested this morning again, same crap. Replace the Netgear Wifi card with a Zyxel one, and looks like it's fine now. Maybe the Netgear card hates the Telkom modem (Won't blame him though).
