Well here goes ...
Thursday evening I wanted to change my ISP settings in the router... and all of a sardine I could not sync/authenticate (tried 3 different ISP's) nothing !! So whipped out my spare modem just to test.. yup you guessed it .. nothing. Check phone etc. all works fine.
Friday --> logged a call with Telkom
Sunday --> Techie rocks up. Did line test etc. All fine. And then he whips out some crappy adsl modem, hooks it up and boom ! ADSL is working. So tried my modem/s again (which I know are not damaged) with the Telkom guest account and nothing !! He even called in for a port reset and still couldn't figure out anything.
Turns out that 2 other people in my area have the same problem. (apparently they also have tp-link and netgear routers)
Anyone ever had this problem ?
