Eddie ripping Master of Puppets is easily the best 2 and half minutes of television I've seen this year. What a cracking finale. Bring on Season 5!

Look at the timeline.
Makes perfect sense.
Vecna disappears from the upside down at the same time Eleven “resurrects” Max in the real world.
It will be the main hook for Season 5.
Considering Eleven has been “responsible” for Vecna all along it will be more of the same. This isn’t deeply original storytelling after all.

Yeah I won't be surprised if they end up using her as a shell for Vecna, although I don't think he is in there yet.
I just hope they don't bring back Eddie even though he was arguably one of the favourite characters this season

To me it all depends on where the Upside Down actually came from....
Did Eleven manufacture it from within herself and gave it to One as a place for him to live?
Or was it a Primal Ancient place that already existed?
If it was the latter, then I think that One (and Eleven) are deluded, and the Mind Flayer is a Seperate Ancient Entity...
And that Actual Entity will be the real big bad of Season 5.....
EDIT: Remember, it was said earlier... that One was just the "five star general for the Mind Flayer"... I think that line is going to come back to be the real truth as spoken by Dustin... because he's the one who actually always knows the real score.

Not created when 11 sent him there, because he describes seeing demigorgans and whatnot when he first gets there. And his transformation to Vecna by the Mind Flayer implies that it’s always been there.

Yep, he created it. That dimension was already there, there was a demogorgan crawling about when he got there. But he created the mind flayer and probably a bunch of other things...
