Strangest thing....

Hi Guys

I have two accounts on my outlook, one being hotmail and the other gmail. I just received an e-mail from my gmail account, sent to everybody I know, reading:

Dear friend,
i would like to introduce a good company who trades mainly in electornic products.
Now the company is under sales promotion,all the products are sold nearly at itscost.
They provide the best service to customers,they provide you with original products
of good quality,and what is more,the price is a surprising happiness to you!

So my first though is, either somebody hacked my gmail account, on the site, or somebody or something hacked my outlook. I checked the sent items in both on my outlook and web based gmail. But the message is not listed.

My security on my system, only consists of avast, running avast exchange. I just installed Zonealarm, just in case of any other intrussion.

What are your guys take on this, what do you think was it, and where do I go from here on?

Happened to me once before, also on a gmail account, but not using Outlook.

I just changed my password and it never happened again. So I am still not sure how it happenened?

I have read on the internet, people have gotten the same message, but it was not gmail related.

Weird. Keep updating them passwords!

At this point in time, my best guess is that it is a worm, and it deleted the sent message, after it sent it.
