Stream SABC 7pm? News?

Haven't watched SABC in ages, but mum wants to stream the nightly news, and I'm tired of fixing the satellite dish/system. Samsung smart TV with youtube or kodi on openelec.

SABC site has a streaming link, but seems to not be actual streaming.

If you have a DSTV account you can just logon online and watch SABC News via DSTV Now.

Other than that I don't think there is a direct live stream, might be wrong, donno.

Just record a couple of episides of the news for her over at a friend's. Just make sure you don't play the same episode on two consecutive days.

Why do you need to fix the satellite system? Why not use OVHD this carried on that platform and its free and no internet bandwith usage. its also once off payment with no monthly fees.

Ah. It's a whole daisy chained thingy with cables running everywhere and remote blasters and the like. And I'm over it.

They stream events. Not news. Or as far as I could tell.
