Hi all
I've got a friend who runs a business from home, she works in a dedicated room and needs a cheap solution to stream video footage of the gate to the room to know if/when clients arrive.
The footage does not need to record just stream to a pc or android tablet in the room. The pc in the room to closest outdoor mounting point is about 30m as the crow flies.
What are the options? this is a super budget build so preferably cheaper than an IP camera else i would just do that instead.
Or if anyone knows of a relatively cheap basic IP camera that would be suitable.
Other options are using a webcam over a long usb cable/usb over ethernet though the quality of those camera's and the extension of the cable probably isn't worth the price.
Using a old phone running a streaming app is a no go too cause data/quality.
Me thinks we'll end up having to spend the money on a indoor IP camera placed on the windowsill connecting to the wifi using no actual data. any ideas?
