streaming issue

Hi
I am sure this is covered somewhere.
I downloaded TuneIn, a radio streaming app.has lots of local stations which is cool.
If I minimise the app, it shows EDGE on the top rhs. I presume this is streaming via BIS and I am not being billed for the data?? Is this correct?
I am on a 8520.
When I phoned vodacom, they said that streaming is NOT included with the BIS in SA.
I can't seem to check with anyone whether I have used any data since installing this app yesterday.
Would appreciate any help in this regard.

Just because u have EDGE it doesn't mean its using BIS. If u stream youtube vids ul have EDGE but you will get charged for the data.

You will have to check your bill, if you on contract. Login into the vodacom website and check itemized billing for the day.

You will definitively pay for streaming.
It is not included in BIS.
